Getting tired of me telling you to put your bibliography, but you can't find your week 2 packet? Well, here's the format below:

  • Internet
    • Format >> Author's last name, Author's first name. "Title of Document." (Online) Document date (IF AVAILABLE). URL (visited: date of visit).
    • Example >> Salda, Michael. "Cinderella Project." (Online) December, 1997. http://www-dept.usm.edu/~engdept/cinderella/cinderella.html (visited: December 8, 1999).

Week 3-4: Give me your blogs!

To my CNN bloggers,

Last week, there were some pretty awesome blogs! Some of you included photos and even videos with your blog entries. Most importantly, some of you tried to include a bibliography at the end. I hope to see more of you (COUGH- people who didn't write a blog- COUGH) blog next week!

Wednesday's class- please submit your blogs by MONDAY 10pm!

Thursday's class- please submit your blogs by Tuesday 10pm!

If you are late in submitting your blog for the first time, I will take away 0.5 pts from your blog for each day it is late. However, if it is not your first time being late, then I will take away 1 pt. for each day your blog entry is late. Also, if you don't submit your blog for the week, then you will receive a ZERO.

Don't forget to include your bibliography(ies) at the end of your entry(ies). In addition, if you did do a blog last week, please do a different category this week. For example, if you wrote about ENTERTAINMENT, then choose a different category, such as WORLD NEWS.

If you are confused about anything at all, please leave a comment or email me at briannepena@chungdahm.com

Have a great weekend^^

Week 1- Welcome!

Hey there!

It's the beginning of summer and welcome to  the Journalism course, which is offered exclusively at the Pyeongchon Branch, Chungdahm Institute.  Since you're student in this class, this must mean that you are a very responsible person because this class carries  a lot of duties, which you MUST uphold. First off, you must create a blog so that is why today's focus is setting up our blogging accounts.  You will be required to blog about one current event each week. The topics can vary; ranging from politics, to sports, to arts/ entertainment, and so on. It is important to remember, however, that we MUST diversify our blogs. That is, we must choose from a variety of topics to blog about over the course of the semester.

This will be a significant portion of our grade, so let's take it seriously!

If you need help setting up your blog, please take a look at this video:
Leave a post/comment if you have any further questions =)
